The Imperial Chiang Mai Resort & Sports Club was heavily affected by the severe flooding during the 2024 rainy season, leading to the indefinite closure of its indoor courts. On a brighter note, one of the two tennis courts has been converted into four pickleball courts. While the surface is slightly slick and offers a fast-paced playing experience, these new outdoor courts are set in a tranquil natural environment that’s truly irresistible. Weekly open play sessions are organized and coordinated through a private Facebook community, where anyone interested is welcome to apply.
