Where to Play Pickleball in Bangkok
With pickleball’s rising popularity in Thailand, Bangkok’s court options continue to expand. From professional indoor facilities to humble DIY setups, the city offers a diverse range of venues to suit any player’s needs. To help you find the right fit, here’s an overview of some top spots to swing your paddle across Bangkok.
Benjakitti Forest Park
was recently renovated in October 2023. Now it stands out in Bangkok as a top destination for pickleball enthusiasts. Offering 10 covered indoor courts in a converted warehouse, it offers weather-protected play. Located just a 15-minute walk from the Asok BTS station, with free parking inside the park, it’s both accessible and convenient.
The courts, post-renovation, provide improved grip surface, though they remain a bit cramped. Despite a few areas for improvement, considering it’s free, Benjakitti offers unmatched value in Bangkok.
Santisuk English School
Santisuk English School has creatively transformed its parking lot into a 3-court outdoor pickleball facility. This humble venue operates under the guidance of two Thai national team players who are eager to grow the sport. Conveniently located near Bangkapi BTS station, Santisuk offers a uniquely urban pickleball experience through drop-in games that welcome players of all levels. The smooth concrete surface provides ample space for players to slide, dive, and sprint during fast-paced rallies. On-site paddle and ball rentals allow anyone to easily join the action. Novices will enjoy tips from the experienced coaches. Santisuk’s laidback community atmosphere makes it easy to learn while also developing skills against talented players.
ASC Sports Club
ASC Sports Club recently gave its 2 indoor and 1 outdoor pickleball courts a makeover with grip-enhancing paint. The indoor air-conditioned courts allow for comfortable year-round play. However, the low ceiling and tight spacing place some constraints on shot selection. The outdoor rooftop court offers nice city views but wind can impact play. Beyond pickleball, ASC offers diverse activities like beach volleyball on their upgraded courts. Scattered tables surround the facility for chilling post-match, with cheap beers available to quench your thirst. Located near Asok BTS/Sukhumvit MRT, ASC is a convenient option for active urbanites seeking casual pickleball and an eclectic mix of sports.
Beat Discovery
Beat Discovery boasts 4 covered pickleball courts touted as the finest in Bangkok. The smooth hardcourts at this premier sporting complex near Udom Suk BTS are ideal for the game, with a surface similar to tennis courts. The roof provides welcome protection from sun and rain while allowing high clears. Players praise the consistent bounces and grip. Private bookings can be easily made online. Though on the southeast side of the city, Beat Discovery offers a high-end pickleball experience worth the trip for many competitors seeking elite facilities.
Shot Selections
Shot Selections Cafe has transformed into a pickleball destination with 3 dedicated outdoor courts and lighting for night play. The renowned coach owner cultivates a welcoming atmosphere for players of all skill levels with his expertise and passion. Both casual and competitive players are drawn to the venue for its balance of exciting rallies and laidback beach vibes. With tasty casual fare like famously delicious fish and chips available courtside, Shot Selections combines convenience and comfort with quality play.
With diverse options across Bangkok, from community focused to pro level, it’s now easier than ever to get your pickleball fix in this energetic city. Players of any background are sure to find a court that matches their needs and enhances their enjoyment of this fast-growing sport.

March 6, 2024 at 12:56 pmI have just started playing pickleball and I love it. I am looking for people to play with in the evenings during the week or weekends. Please advise on the best way I could find regular people to play with who have the same interest. I have been to Benjakitti Park. I thougth that the park would be a good start? I know most people that play are already in pairs or doubles, so wondered if coming alone would be more difficult. Thank you!

March 10, 2024 at 2:34 pmIt is possible to show up at Benjakitti Park and meet new players and since they have 10 courts and free it is high chance someone is willing to play with you. But it is court bookings so it depends on who are playing and how open they are to invite new players. Otherwise ASC recently posted drop in sessions a few hours everyday for 120 THB. It is possible to find the schedule on their facebook page.
